Self Publishing On Amazon Is Easy…

6 Simple Steps to Self Publishing On Amazon

1. Plan :

2. Prepare:
   Map out your book framework so you have a recipe to follow. We are focusing on non fiction short reads as they are the easiest books that are the most popular to write first go.  I personally recommend doing a book series, but let’s get your first Best Seller off the ground and we can discuss that later. I have 5 simple frameworks that I give my students to map out their book easily. I even have a framework for those who hate writing. I had to come up with that one for Steve Brossman and now he has 3 x #1 Best Sellers…go figure!
3. Produce:
   This is the part that most people dread, or avoid because they don’t have a system. Writing a non fiction book that helps people, especially a short read book is super, super easy to do. We are not writing a novel people, get that image out of your head right now, it is keeping you playing small. We are talking 15,000-20,000 words and you are good to go. Don’t worry about being perfect, that is what your editor is for and I have all that in my resource list ready for you to use in the Best Seller Influence program launching in Feb 2018.
4. Package:
   This is the fun part where you get to focus on formatting [there is two to choose from], calls to actions, lead generators, engagement inclusions for your readers and book covers. Book covers are so much fun to do. Whether you are artistic like me and you do them yourself, or use my resource list to get a very cost effective cover done, that is all you need to self publish your book on Amazon.
5. Pre-Launch:
   That is where you start creating a buzz and telling everyone that your book is about to launch and get them all excited about how you are going to change their life with your expertise, message, wisdom, passion, story or legacy. It is a great way to get it all ready for launch day while you are waiting for the packaging to be finished.
6. Promote:
   This is the most exciting day of all. Uploading your book, setting your price and pushing the Self Publish on Amazon button. It is the most exhilarating feeling pushing that button knowing that 24-48 hours later you are going to be a self published Author on Amazon up there with all the other Thought Leaders, Celebrities, Experts and people sharing their wisdom.

Sadly, that is where most Authors stop. They push that button and that is where the story ends. I mean if you are going to write a book, you may as well make it a Best Seller, don’t you agree?
